Overview and Gameplay
An experimental orbital puzzle system places the player inside the Millennium Orb, navigating through a sequence of 30 Enigma Chambers. Each chamber challenges positioning, timing, and trajectory control as the Orb ricochets between force shields while interacting with layered targets arranged in spatial depth. The goal is to progress through increasingly complex rooms and ultimately confront the controlling force behind the system.
The gameplay blends bouncing physics with puzzle logic. Targets may react differently depending on impact direction, and some chambers require chain reactions or indirect solutions rather than direct clearing. A persistent fuel system adds pressure, requiring careful movement and occasional resupply stops between attempts.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement and positioning rely on directional control of force shields and Orb trajectory influence
- Trajectory can be altered mid-flight through dive and rebound manipulation
- A fuel management system requires periodic refueling through a separate interface
- Chambers feature varied logic puzzles including matching, sequence solving, and reactive objects
- Single player progression through a fixed set of chambers with escalating complexity
Version Notes
This NES release presents a console adaptation of the original concept, including optional stereoscopic presentation using packaged viewing accessories while remaining fully playable without them.
