Overview and Gameplay
Bren McGuire is sent into a war against The Machine, a hostile AI that has devastated humanity. The focus is fast side-scrolling combat mixed with exploration across large, layered stages filled with hidden paths and power-ups. Players move through interconnected areas, clearing enemies, discovering upgrades, and facing large boss encounters that close off each zone.
The design blends run-and-gun action with platform traversal, encouraging both aggressive combat and careful movement through branching level layouts.
