Overview and Gameplay
A top-down horror-themed action game where two teenagers move through neighborhood stages overwhelmed by parody monster attacks. The goal is to locate and rescue civilians while surviving increasingly dangerous areas filled with zombies, mutants, and other creatures inspired by classic horror films.
Progression is stage-based, with each level requiring a set number of rescues before an exit becomes available. The pace mixes exploration with constant pressure from enemies, forcing careful movement and quick reactions.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement through top-down environments across multiple connected areas
- Rescuing neighbors is required to complete each stage
- Limited-use weapons and items scattered throughout levels
- Enemies include a wide range of horror-themed creatures with different behaviors
- Two-player cooperative play allows shared progression through the same stages
Version Notes
The European release shortens the title compared to other regions while keeping the same core gameplay. Minor presentation adjustments appear in some regional versions, but stage structure and mechanics remain consistent.
