Overview and Gameplay
Five-on-five NBA basketball shifts into a faster angled court view with real teams, player ratings, full seasons, playoffs, exhibition games, and custom teams. NBA Live 95 began EA Sports’ long-running NBA Live series, focusing less on arcade spectacle and more on passing, shot timing, fouls, fatigue, injuries, substitutions, and stat tracking.
Controls And Mechanics
- Players dribble, pass, shoot, rebound, block, steal, hand-check, switch defenders, and use turbo to push the pace.
- Jump shots use release timing, while free throws use a meter-based aiming system.
- Rule presets include Arcade, Simulation, and Custom settings, with adjustable quarter length and difficulty.
- Season and Playoff modes can be saved, while Exhibition supports NBA, All-Star, and Custom teams.
- The SNES version supports competitive multiplayer, and same-team play is available with a multi-player adapter.
