Overview and Gameplay
Underground prize fights surround Buzz, Ty, and Kato with hostile opponents, loose weapons, and spectators who may interfere. This Sega Genesis conversion of Atari Games’ arcade title follows 11 main fights before the championship battle with the Masked Warrior. Players move around open arenas, attack, evade, block, grab objects, and manage health that carries between regular bouts.
Controls And Mechanics
- Basic actions: Move in eight directions, punch, kick, jump, and pick up nearby objects.
- Combined inputs: Button combinations perform grabs, jump kicks, defense, ducking, and each fighter’s super move.
- Power-up: The green power pill temporarily increases attack strength, reduces damage, and allows heavier objects or fighters to be lifted.
- Multiplayer: Two players fight computer opponents simultaneously, then face each other in Grudge Matches and a late elimination bout.
- Scoring: Prize money serves as the score, with rewards for attacks, knockouts, brutality, and completed fights.
