Overview and Gameplay

A mysterious animator keeps painting Bugs Bunny into dangerous Looney Tunes scenes. Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rampage is a one-player SNES action platformer where Bugs survives nine cartoon stages, fights familiar rivals, and works toward exposing the animator behind the trouble.

The game focuses on movement, slapstick attacks, and ACME gadgets. Bugs jumps, ducks, enters rabbit holes, throws pies, kicks enemies, uses collected ACME devices, and can leave return-point signs after touching special arrows. A carrot-shaped energy meter tracks damage and also powers the spinning attack.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Bugs moves with the directional pad, jumps, ducks, and can drop through platforms or enter rabbit holes.
  • Pies, kicks, and the spinning attack are his main offensive moves.
  • ACME devices are selected with the shoulder buttons and released when available.
  • The Super Squat Buster is performed during a falling jump.
  • Practice and Normal modes change the number of tries at the start.
  • Style points and continues are awarded between stages.
