Overview and Gameplay
Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble join a Stone Age treasure hunt after the Great Poobah declares Sierra Madrock’s treasure the prize for his successor. The game mixes a board-game-style map with side-scrolling platform stages across Bedrock-themed worlds.
Controls And Mechanics
- Roll a stone die, move across the map, and enter the event or platform stage tied to the space.
- Fred and Barney can jump, attack with clubs, duck, run, climb, swim, and flap in midair to stay airborne longer.
- Clams act as money, apples restore health, stars give extra lives, and heart-frame items increase the life bar.
- Two-player mode uses Fred for Player One and Barney for Player Two in alternating board-game-style play.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release of the game, not the separate Flintstones movie tie-in.
