Overview and Gameplay
After a cataclysm reshapes Earth into Urth, seven dinosaur and giant-ape gods battle for control in one-on-one fights. This SNES version adapts the arcade fighter with digitized creature sprites, special moves, combo damage, gore options, and a single-player conquest path through rival territories.
Controls And Mechanics
- Attacks: four main buttons cover upper quick, upper fierce, lower quick, and lower fierce strikes.
- Special play: directional inputs combine with attacks for special moves, while combos increase damage.
- Fight systems: the Life Blood Bar tracks health, and the Brain Stem Bar can leave a fighter dazed when depleted.
- Multiplayer: two players fight simultaneously in versus mode, with handicap options available.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release. The public title remains Primal Rage, while the fixed-dump label is a preservation tag rather than an official subtitle.
