Overview and Gameplay
Duke returns from exile to the kingdom of Neugier, only for pirates and monsters to pull him into a compact action RPG about reclaiming his homeland. The game uses overhead exploration, real-time sword combat, short dungeon-like chapters, NPC conversations, equipment, hearts that raise maximum health, and a completion-time ranking after the ending.
Controls And Mechanics
- Duke attacks with a sword, jumps over hazards, talks to characters, and explores stage-based areas.
- Sword attacks gain levels through use, improving standing and jumping attacks.
- The Throw-Chain can stun or push enemies, move objects, latch onto walls, and solve puzzles.
- Saving is available, and continuing restarts the current section while keeping attack levels.
- The game is single-player only.
