Overview and Gameplay
Simba grows from a playful cub into an adult lion across side-scrolling stages based on Disney’s film. The SNES game follows locations such as the Pride Lands, Elephant Graveyard, jungle, and Pride Rock, with platforming, enemy encounters, boss fights, and story-driven progression.
Cub Simba relies on jumping, pouncing, rolling, ledge grabs, and roars. Adult Simba adds claw attacks and mauling moves, making later stages more combat-focused.
Controls And Mechanics
- Directions move Simba, handle crouching, looking, rolling, climbing, and hanging movement.
- A uses Simba’s roar, B jumps and pounces, Y slashes as adult Simba, X performs adult maul and flip attacks, and Start pauses.
- Health, roar strength, lives, and continues are managed through collectible bugs and icons.
- Bonus rounds starring Timon or Pumbaa use simple bug-collecting challenges for extra rewards.
