Overview and Gameplay
Young Simba crosses the Pride Lands, survives the wildebeest stampede, grows into an adult, and returns to confront Scar. This 1994 action-platformer follows the major events of Disney’s animated film across ten stages, mixing side-scrolling exploration with animal-assisted jumps, an ostrich run, chase sequences, cavern routes, and combat.
Cub Simba relies on pouncing, rolling, and a roar that can stun enemies. Adult Simba gains slashing attacks and a maul or throw move needed during the final battle. Checkpoints, limited lives, continues, health upgrades, roar upgrades, and Timon or Pumbaa bonus rounds shape progression.
