Overview and Gameplay
A lone prototype fighter, the Zero Wing ship, is deployed against a vast alien force sweeping across the galaxy. The mission unfolds through fast horizontal scrolling stages where waves of enemy craft, ground installations, and large bosses block progress. Each level pushes survival, pattern reading, and score chasing through continuous firepower upgrades and careful positioning.
The gameplay follows classic arcade shoot ’em up structure: clear stages, defeat bosses, and push deeper into enemy-controlled space. Weapon pickups enhance firepower while enemy formations demand constant movement and awareness.
