Overview and Gameplay
A lost follow-up to an early Sega Genesis first-person shooter, this prototype expands the fight against hostile alien forces into larger, more complex facilities. Players move through interconnected corridors and multi-room structures, clearing enemies, managing resources, and advancing mission objectives tied to an ongoing planetary conflict.
The core loop focuses on exploration, combat encounters in confined 3D spaces, and steady progression through staged environments. Each area is designed around navigation, survival, and reaching exit points while handling increasing resistance from alien and human adversaries.
Controls And Mechanics
- First-person movement through grid-like environments with directional input
- Ranged combat against multiple enemy types in enclosed areas
- Interaction with doors, terminals, and progression triggers
- Weapon usage and switching during combat encounters
- Two-player design concepts exist in the series lineage, but this build is primarily experienced as a single-player prototype
