Overview and Gameplay
Whizz the rabbit magician leaves his hot-air balloon and races through angled, toy-like worlds while Ratty gives chase. This SNES version is an isometric platform game built around timed stages, item collection, door breakers, rockets, flags, keys, and tricky route finding. The player guides Whizz to each stage exit while managing lives, score, energy, and the hourglass timer.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement: the isometric view makes directional movement and jump placement a major part of the challenge.
- Spin attack: Whizz can defeat most enemies by spinning, though the move drains energy outside Easy difficulty.
- Items: keys, door breakers, mini-hourglasses, mushrooms, rockets, and flags affect progress, time, health, and score.
- Difficulty: Easy, Normal, and Hard settings change how forgiving the game feels.
- Players: single-player only, with no alternating, simultaneous, versus, or co-op mode.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release of Whizz. The public title does not include the verification tag.
