Overview and Gameplay
Star Luster puts the pilot of the GAIA fighter against Battura forces spread across an 8×8 sector map. Move between sectors, enter first-person cockpit battles, destroy enemy formations, and protect friendly bases and planets as hostile groups advance.
Training introduces the basic rules with a smaller battlefield. Command expands the map with planets, asteroid fields, upgrades, and stronger opposition. Adventure adds seven planetary keys and a hidden dark planet that must be revealed and cleared to complete the full mission.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the map cursor and steers GAIA during combat. A warps to a selected sector or controls acceleration, while B launches a map-based photon torpedo or fires the forward beam. Select switches between the strategic map and cockpit view, and Start begins or pauses play.
Energy decreases during travel and combat. Bases restore energy, repair damaged systems, refill equipment, and may provide beam, shield, or reactor upgrades. Heavy damage can impair radar, targeting functions, movement, or shield operation. Final rankings consider defeated enemies, surviving locations, elapsed time, energy use, and mission completion.
