Overview and Gameplay

A neon green gel leads Vice officer Quinn Hart from a missing partner case into alien survivors, corporate crime, and a citywide conspiracy.

Vice: Project Doom is a licensed NES action game by Aicom. It mixes three play styles: side-scrolling action-platform stages, overhead driving chases, and first-person shooting scenes. Hart fights with a laser whip, .44 Magnum, and grenades while following cinematic story scenes through a sci-fi crime plot.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Side-scrolling stages focus on running, jumping, ducking, climbing, and switching between weapons.
  • The laser whip has unlimited use, while bullets and grenades are limited.
  • Driving stages use steering, gear shifting, and forward fire.
  • First-person shooting stages use a target cursor, Magnum shots, and grenades.
  • Pickups include coins, meat, bullets, grenades, and Heal-Aid.
  • This is a solo game with no two-player mode.
