Overview and Gameplay
Action 52 collects 52 independent games on one unlicensed Sega Genesis cartridge. Developed separately from the NES edition, this version features a largely different lineup of platformers, shooters, racing games, sports contests, puzzles, maze games, and simple arcade-style challenges.
A color-coded menu groups the games into Beginner, Intermediate, Expert, Two Player, and Special categories. Each game has its own stages, objectives, scoring, lives, or timed challenges, with no shared campaign or progression system. Extras include a random game selector, a music demo, and the endurance-focused Challenge mode.
