Overview and Gameplay
B.O.B. follows a teenage robot who crashes his father’s car on a hostile planet while heading to a date. This 1993 Genesis conversion of the Super NES original mixes side-scrolling platforming, shooting, maze-like exploration, and limited-resource management. Across more than 45 stages, B.O.B. searches for exit teleporters, fights bosses, and tackles occasional vehicle sequences. A countdown timer makes slow exploration risky because his power drains rapidly after time expires.
