Overview and Gameplay
Jonathan Harker is imprisoned inside Count Dracula’s castle, forced to fight his way through hostile corridors, undead creatures, and traps while seeking escape and survival. This side-scrolling action platformer follows a linear structure inspired by the film narrative, moving from Transylvanian strongholds into broader European locations under Dracula’s influence. Combat is centered on direct melee encounters, with enemies frequently reappearing to pressure constant forward movement.
Stages are designed around survival pacing, where timing, positioning, and learning enemy patterns are more important than exploration. Occasional assistance from Van Helsing helps guide progression and introduces key weapons or direction changes during the journey.
