Overview and Gameplay

Jonathan Harker crosses Transylvania and London to battle Dracula’s creatures and save Mina in this side-scrolling adaptation of the 1992 film. Seven scenes are split into daytime and nighttime sections, creating fourteen main stage segments. Night stages usually end with a boss or a form of Dracula.

Levels combine platforming, combat, timed exploration, checkpoints, moving platforms, and score-focused item collection. Easy ends after Scene 2, Medium after Scene 4, while Hard unlocks the final three scenes and complete ending.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Movement: Walk, crouch, look, jump, and perform a downward smash that can break or pass through certain ledges.
  • Combat: Attack with rocks, axes, torches, and triple rocks.
  • Items: Clocks add time, lanterns act as checkpoints, and coins or diamonds increase the score. Other pickups restore energy, grant invincibility, add lives, or provide continues.
  • Van Helsing: Rescue him during daytime stages to gain triple-rock ammunition for the next Dracula encounter.
