Overview and Gameplay
Chase H.Q. II sends police drivers after wanted criminals in timed high-speed pursuits. Each mission has two phases: catch the suspect vehicle before time runs out, then ram it repeatedly until it is disabled and the criminal is arrested.
Controls And Mechanics
- Players choose between three vehicles: a fast sports car, a balanced 4×4, and a slower truck with stronger ramming power.
- Turbo boosts help close the gap or increase impact during the takedown phase.
- Five pursuit missions include traffic, branching roads, tunnels, ramps, weather hazards, helicopters, and road obstacles.
- Progress is based on clearing each chase, not finishing in race position.
Version Notes
This is the U.S. Sega Genesis release titled Chase H.Q. II. The Japanese Mega Drive version is known as Super H.Q., and this game should be kept separate from the later arcade title Chase H.Q. 2.
