Overview and Gameplay

Monobe explores a ruined world to uncover the forgotten origins of his people, using ancient technology they understand as magic. Generations Lost blends side-scrolling action with platforming, environmental puzzles, and methodical exploration across six sectors.

The E-Rad arm device serves as both a weapon and a traversal tool. Players search for switches, navigate hazards, defeat mechanical enemies, and open routes through large, interconnected areas. Its deliberate movement and sometimes unclear navigation make it more demanding than a straightforward arcade platformer.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Directions: Move, crouch, and aim the E-Rad in supported situations.
  • A: Fire or use the E-Rad for climbing and swinging.
  • B: Perform physical attacks, including punches and aerial kicks.
  • C: Jump.
  • Start: Start or pause the game.

The three main action buttons can be reassigned from the options menu. The game supports one player only.
