Overview and Gameplay
Alien forces threaten Earth as a lone combat ship pushes through dense formations, ground targets, mechanical bosses, and increasingly dangerous bullet patterns. Grind Stormer is the Sega Genesis conversion of Toaplan’s vertical arcade shooter, built around six demanding stages, checkpoint recovery, weapon pods, and score-driven survival.
The cartridge includes two rule sets. Grind Stormer mode applies weapons and upgrades immediately and equips the ship with bombs. V-Five mode replaces bombs with a selectable power-up gauge, letting players save items for speed, weapons, power increases, or a shield.
