Overview and Gameplay

Represent one of 32 nations across ten events inspired by the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. The program includes sprinting, hurdles, jumping, throwing, archery, and skeet shooting, with full competition, custom event, and practice options.

Track events use qualifying heats before the medal race, while field events reward accurate timing across several attempts. Overall success is measured through medals rather than a single combined points total.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Alternate A and B rapidly to build speed or power in many athletics events.
  • Use the directional pad for event-specific actions such as jumping, throwing, planting the pole, and aiming.
  • Archery combines directional aiming with a charged draw, while skeet shooting requires releasing, tracking, and firing at clay targets.
  • Up to two players can compete simultaneously in sprint events. Other multiplayer events are played in turns.

Release And Credits

  • Release year: 1996
  • Developer: Tiertex Design Studios
