Overview and Gameplay
The Pink Panther heads to Hollywood for an audition, only to cross movie backlots and parody sets while Inspector Clouseau interferes. This 1993 Sega Genesis platformer uses Honey, I Shrunk the Pink as a hub, with doors leading through hazardous sound stages and themed areas such as Pinkinhood, Jungle Pink, Pink Beard, and Pinkenstein.
Players run, climb, make variable-height jumps, enter passages, and strike enemies with a spring-loaded boxing glove. Health, lives, score items, hidden routes, and selectable difficulty settings shape the progression.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement: The directional pad handles walking, running, ducking, entering passages, and climbing ropes or vines.
- Actions: A selects Toll Cards or Tricks, B attacks or activates a selected Trick, and C jumps.
- Items: Toll Cards can create paths or provide umbrella and magic-carpet travel. Tricks include enemy-stopping and destructive tools, while hearts, shields, stars, and extra-life icons provide support.
