Overview and Gameplay
Barbie travels through Hollywood, Hawaii, a Colorado ski resort, and New York while preparing for fashion shows. Each stage combines obstacle-filled travel with outfit matching, makeup matching, runway practice, and a final memory test.
Stars award fashion points, while collisions remove chances. Progress is linear across four destinations, and earning at least 5,000 points in Super Model mode produces the successful ending. Junior Model reduces the difficulty, while Free Play provides direct access to the fashion activities.
Controls And Mechanics
- Travel: Use the directions to move, A to accelerate, and B to slow down.
- Fashion activities: The directions select options, while A, B, and C change clothing, colors, makeup, or poses according to the current activity.
- Runway: Memorize a four-pose sequence during practice, then reproduce it at the show.
- Multiplayer: Two players take alternating turns through stages and compare scores. There is no simultaneous play or co-op.
