Overview and Gameplay
Time travel pushes a samurai spirit across hostile eras where survival depends on blade combat and careful movement through platforming stages. Second Samurai continues Core Design’s earlier action formula from First Samurai, placing players in a side scrolling structure with linear progression through themed environments. Each stage combines enemy encounters with traversal sections, requiring steady timing and controlled movement. The objective is to advance through sequential levels while managing health and overcoming increasingly complex enemy patterns.
