Overview and Gameplay
The Pacific War is fought one day at a time through maps, fleets, bases, supplies, commanders, and production decisions. P.T.O. II: Pacific Theater of Operations is Koei’s second naval war simulation in the series, casting the player as either the U.S. or Japanese naval command.
Campaigns and short scenarios cover major World War II Pacific operations, including Pearl Harbor, Midway, Leyte, and the final stages of the war. Play is divided into Move, Plan, and Battle phases, with victory based on objectives such as capturing the enemy capital, breaking productivity, or meeting scenario goals.
