Overview and Gameplay
Bouncing bubbles threaten landmarks around the world, and the player has to pop every last one before time runs out. Super Buster Bros. is the SNES version of the arcade game also known as Super Pang, built around fixed-screen stages, vertical shots, bubble-splitting hazards, score play, and quick movement along platforms and ladders.
Tour Mode sends you through world-travel stages, while Panic Mode offers a 99-level survival challenge with constant bubble pressure.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move along the bottom of each stage, climb ladders, and fire upward to split bubbles into smaller pieces.
- Weapons and items include single and double harpoons, grappling hooks, machine guns, shields, time-freeze effects, dynamite, shoes, and food bonuses.
- The SNES release is single-player only, unlike the arcade game’s broader multiplayer context.
