Overview and Gameplay
Space Sister, The Spy Eyes, and Showtime give Super Pinball II: The Amazing Odyssey its three-table structure, each built around a fixed full-table view rather than scrolling playfields.
The sequel to Super Pinball: Behind the Mask keeps the focus on score building, table objectives, bonus features, and Conquest progression. In Conquest play, the player clears tables in sequence by reaching very high score targets, while the score-contest mode supports alternating players.
Controls And Mechanics
- Play centers on flipper timing, ball launching, nudging, and managing tilt risk.
- Tables use upper and lower structures, ramps, target patterns, bonus scoring, skill-shot play, and multiball features.
- The Spy Eyes, Space Sister, and Showtime each use different themes and table layouts.
- Two-player play is alternating hot-seat score competition, not simultaneous play or co-op.
Version Notes
This is the Japan-only Super Famicom release, with an English-heavy title and table presentation. It is also known by the Japanese title スーパーピンボール2 ザ・アメイジング・オデッセイ.
