Overview and Gameplay
Timon and Pumbaa turn the jungle into a small arcade of score-chasing challenges based on Disney’s The Lion King. The SNES version includes four games: Burper, Jungle Pinball, Slingshooter, and Hippo Hop. Play is built around picking a game from the Jungle Arcade, choosing difficulty, and pushing for better scores rather than following a story campaign.
Controls And Mechanics
- Burper: move Pumbaa under falling bugs, use burps of different strength, and tail-swipe ground threats.
- Jungle Pinball: launch pill bugs, work the left and right flippers, nudge the table, and score through ramps, bumpers, targets, and Hakuna Matata letters.
- Slingshooter: aim a crosshair and fire berries at targets while avoiding friendly characters.
- Hippo Hop: guide Timon across the river on logs, hippos, turtles, and other moving platforms before time runs out.
- Multiplayer: two players are supported by taking turns, not simultaneous co-op.
Version Notes
This is the PAL Europe SNES release. Compared with the original computer version, the SNES game has four minigames and does not include Bug Drop. The verified tag is a dump-status note, not part of the public game title.
