Overview and Gameplay
A fantasy kingdom is threatened by Arch Mage Wylde, and the last FireStriker must use the Trialight to break through monster-filled rooms. FireStriker mixes overhead action with pinball and Breakout-style play, making the fireball itself the main weapon.
Players move through a world map, clear dungeon rooms, rescue other FireStrikers, break obstacles, defeat enemies, open doors, and protect the Trialight from falling off the bottom of the screen. The result is not a standard action RPG, but a room-by-room fantasy paddle-action game.
Controls And Mechanics
- The Trialight destroys enemies, blocks, and barriers when struck around the room.
- Power strikes hit the Trialight harder, while hearts, extra lives, and Life Boxes help survival.
- A helper magician can guard the bottom of the screen in single-player play.
- Normal Mode supports two-player cooperative play, and Multi Mode supports competitive duel play.
