Overview and Gameplay
Pac-Man guides a yellow character through a maze filled with pellets while four ghosts patrol the corridors. The objective is to clear every pellet on the screen while avoiding contact with enemies. Power Pellets temporarily reverse the chase, allowing Pac-Man to turn the tables and score extra points by eating ghosts.
The NES release preserves the arcade-style loop of clearing mazes, collecting fruit bonuses, and surviving increasingly faster ghost behavior across stages.
