Overview and Gameplay
LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game retells events from the three Star Wars prequel films across fourteen isometric scenes. Each episode has its own sequence of stages built around combat, platform jumps, switches, computer terminals, Force-controlled objects, timed objectives, and boss fights. Story Mode provides a fixed party, while completed scenes open in Free Play with an additional unlocked character for reaching ability-specific secrets.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the active character. A jumps and supports higher jumps or hovering for certain characters, while B performs lightsaber strikes, blaster shots, grenades, or other standard attacks. L lets Jedi and Sith manipulate highlighted objects with the Force, and R activates character-specific powers that consume regenerating stamina. Select switches party members or interacts with nearby characters.
Defeated enemies, scenery, and exploration provide LEGO Studs used to buy Free Play characters and upgrades. Five Death Star Plan pieces are hidden in each scene. Losing all hearts makes the character fall apart, removes locally carried studs, and restarts the current section.
Version Notes
This release is an unofficial Simplified Chinese fan translation credited to 空气. The Game Boy Advance edition uses one active character at a time, isometric stages, and a dedicated fourteen-scene structure.
