Overview and Gameplay
A lone vigilante cleans up New York’s criminal network after a personal tragedy sets Frank Castle on a relentless path against organized crime. The action unfolds as a rail-style shooter where movement and aiming happen simultaneously while the screen pushes through city streets, hideouts, and enemy strongholds. Players progress by selecting targets from a roster of crime bosses, clearing each stage set, and ultimately confronting the Kingpin at the top of the hierarchy.
Combat revolves around tracking enemies on screen, destroying threats quickly, and managing limited resources such as ammunition, grenades, and health pickups. Environmental objects can reveal items or hazards, and accuracy affects performance bonuses between stages.
