Overview and Gameplay
Epsilon-2 races across planet Sierra to stop the terrorist organization Scarlet and its leader, Xi-Tiger. Treasure built Alien Soldier as a fast, demanding science-fiction shooter for experienced Mega Drive players, with 25 stages and a heavy focus on elaborate boss encounters.
Players choose four slots from six weapons, each with its own rechargeable Force Energy. Success depends on switching weapons, identifying weak points, moving quickly, and mastering each enemy pattern. The game tracks score, damage received, clear times, defeated enemies, and game overs.
