Overview and Gameplay
A cursed pendant leaves laid-back surfer Greendog unable to ride the waves and surrounded by hostile creatures. To break the curse, he travels across six Caribbean islands, collecting treasure pieces hidden inside ancient temples.
The action combines side-scrolling platforming with flying-disc combat, health-restoring food, environmental hazards, and occasional skateboard, rollerblade, and pedal-powered helicopter sequences. Score milestones can temporarily improve Greendog’s disc, while a collected bone can summon his dog, Fetch, for assistance.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement: Run, crouch, jump, and navigate platforms with directional control.
- Flying disc: Throw Greendog’s returning projectile at enemies and breakable objects.
- Special item: Use a collected emergency item when available.
- Pedalcopter: Keep pressing jump to remain airborne and use its boxing-glove attack against obstacles.
- Player mode: Single-player only.
