Overview and Gameplay
Colonel Red has seized four Mystical Gems and plans to revive the destructive robot Golden Silver. The Gunstar twins fight through his army in Treasure’s fast, technically ambitious run-and-gun adventure, widely regarded as one of the Sega Genesis library’s strongest action games.
Players shoot, jump, grapple enemies, throw objects, and battle elaborate transforming bosses. Four opening stages can be tackled in any order before the campaign moves into a fixed final sequence. Mine carts, spacecraft, a board-game stage, and other set pieces constantly vary the action.
