Overview and Gameplay

A wandering martial artist crosses a scorched wasteland ruled by rival warlords, pushing through hostile territories in a straight path of close combat encounters and boss confrontations. The journey unfolds through stage-based progression with a branching map that lets the player choose different routes between battles, each leading toward stronger enemies and key confrontations.

Combat focuses on direct melee action against waves of enemies on a 2D plane. Each area ends with a tougher opponent that must be defeated to continue. Between stages, the map screen opens up route selection, shaping the order of encounters and adding light strategic planning to progression.

Controls And Mechanics

  • Movement across stages with basic directional input
  • Close-range attacks using punches and kicks
  • Jumping for evasive movement and aerial attacks
  • Boss fights that require pattern recognition and timing
  • Branching map system for stage selection
  • Single-player progression only

Version Notes

The Western release removes its original manga licensing and replaces characters and story elements with a standalone narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world. Core gameplay structure and stage design remain intact, with localized names and dialogue replacing the original Japanese presentation.
