Overview and Gameplay
In the lawless American frontier, armed outlaws erupt across towns, trains, and saloons, placing the player in the role of a gunfighter restoring order. This rail-shooter experience from Konami moves the action into a Western setting with rapid encounters and tightly timed reactions.
Players move through linear stages where enemies appear in preset patterns. Survival depends on fast reactions and accurate shooting as threats appear and respond within short attack windows. Each stage increases intensity with denser enemy waves and faster aggression.
Controls And Mechanics
- On-screen aiming is used to target enemies as they appear in fixed positions
- Fast shooting is required to interrupt attacks before damage is taken
- Accuracy affects survival and overall performance across stages
- Two-player mode allows alternating play through shared stage progression
Version Notes
The Sega Genesis release adapts the arcade original for home play, adjusting pacing and presentation for console hardware while retaining the Western theme and core rail-shooter structure.
