Overview and Gameplay
An orange alien loses his spacecraft to the creatures of a strange planet and must cross a chain of themed lands to recover it. Puggsy combines side-scrolling platforming with object-based puzzles built around its Total Object Interaction system.
Objects differ in weight and behavior. They can be carried, thrown, stacked, floated, bounced, or placed on switches. Multiple exits create branching routes across the island map, with passwords recording progress between sections.
Controls And Mechanics
- Move with the directional controls and adjust Puggsy’s arms to select objects in a stack.
- Pick up, drop, throw, or activate held objects to solve environmental puzzles.
- Hold the jump button longer for a higher leap.
- Carry objects through exits for score bonuses.
- Sneakers increase speed and absorb one hit, while sunglasses provide extra protection.
Version Notes
