Overview and Gameplay
Woody has to keep Andy’s toys together while Buzz Lightyear changes the balance of the toy box. This SNES platform game follows scenes from Pixar’s Toy Story, mixing side-scrolling stages with pull-string swinging, toy hazards, R.C. driving, claw-machine navigation, Sid’s room, and the chase back to the moving van.
Controls And Mechanics
- Movement: guide Woody through platforms, duck under danger, and aim the pull-string.
- Actions: jump, use Woody’s pull-string to tie up enemies, and grab hooks for swinging.
- Items: stars act as health and rewards, hats give extra tries, and flags serve as continue points.
- Stage variety: some levels change the rules with driving, maze, or chase objectives.
- Players: single-player only.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release. The European version uses password saving, and the SNES version does not include the Sega-only Day-toy-na stage. No special chip or accessory is required.
