Overview and Gameplay
Gotham’s villains get their own animated-series episodes in The Adventures of Batman & Robin. Batman fights through stages themed around Joker, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Riddler, and Clayface.
Most play is side-view action platforming with henchmen, hazards, boss fights, and gadget use. Some episodes change the pace with rescue objectives, rooftop pursuit, puzzle-like rooms, or a Batmobile chase.
Controls And Mechanics
- The directional pad moves Batman, looks up, crouches, and selects items in menus.
- Y attacks and throws nearby enemies, B jumps, L and R guard, X cycles utility-belt items, and A uses the selected item.
- Before stages, the Batcave equipment screen lets Batman choose tools such as Batarangs, grappling gear, gas protection, or other mission items.
- This is a single-player game with no two-player, versus, or co-op mode.
Version Notes
This is the European PAL SNES release. The Genesis, Game Gear, and Sega CD games with the same title are separate games, not ports of this SNES version.
