Overview and Gameplay
Emperor Velo abducts Crash, Cortex, and their allies and forces them to race in the Galactic Circuit. Adventure mode lets you choose Team Bandicoot or Team Cortex, win three trophy races in each world, defeat its boss, and collect keys to reach Velo.
The Game Boy Advance version includes 13 tracks, Arcade races, cup competitions, Quick Race, Time Trial, relic challenges, crystal challenges, and Gem Cups. Bosses and bonus racers become available through continued progress.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad steers, A accelerates, B brakes, R hops and starts a power-slide, and L uses the held item. Tapping A when the slide meter reaches the red zone triggers a boost, with up to three boosts possible during one slide.
Mystery crates supply weapons, traps, shields, and turbo items. Collecting ten Wumpa Fruit improves held items and raises maximum speed, while crashes and falls remove fruit. Multiplayer supports simultaneous linked races and competitive battle events.
Version Notes
This dedicated handheld adaptation uses pseudo-3D racing, a 13-track course set, and progression designed specifically for the Game Boy Advance edition.
