Overview and Gameplay
Dr. Neo Cortex shrinks Earth with the Planetary Minimizer, and Coco builds a device that can restore it. Crash must collect 20 Crystals across four Warp Rooms, each containing five stages and a boss battle.
Side-scrolling levels feature platform routes, hidden bonus areas, underwater sections, Polar chases, hover-bike courses, and Rocket Crash missions. Clear Gems reward complete crate destruction, Colored Gems open secret routes, and Time Trials award Sapphire, Gold, or Platinum Relics.
Controls And Mechanics
Crash jumps, spins through enemies and crates, slides beneath hazards, crawls through narrow spaces, and performs body slams. Boss victories unlock the Super Body Slam, Double Jump, Tornado Spin, and Turbo Run.
Collecting 100 Wumpa Fruit grants an extra life. Aku Aku masks absorb damage, and a third mask provides temporary invincibility. Checkpoint Crates set the restart point after a lost life, while TNT and Nitro crates require careful timing or safe detonation.
