Overview and Gameplay
Ellen Ripley must search the prison complex on Fiorina 161, rescue every required captive, and reach the exit before time runs out. This NES adaptation of Alien³ combines side-scrolling action, platforming, and maze-like exploration across layouts created specifically for the console.
Each stage is filled with ladders, doors, tunnels, elevators, facehuggers, pods, and adult aliens. Radar batteries help reveal prisoners and moving threats, while health, ammunition, and score items reward careful exploration. A stronger guardian encounter follows every two regular stages.
