Overview and Gameplay
Ripley races through the prison colony of Fiorina 161, rescuing trapped prisoners while xenomorphs, facehuggers, machinery, and a strict timer block the way. This Sega Genesis adaptation of the 1992 film is a side-view action platformer with large, maze-like stages, limited ammunition, hidden rooms, and separate Guardian battles.
The campaign contains 15 objective stages and five Guardian encounters. Missions mix prisoner rescues, combat-focused Mayhem objectives, exploration, and a final dash to the exit before time expires. Route planning becomes increasingly important on later maps.
