Overview and Gameplay
Snotty Ragsdale becomes the gross-out superhero Boogerman and enters Dimension X-Crement to recover a stolen power source. This unlicensed NES adaptation compresses the original Mega Drive adventure into five side-scrolling platform sections and three boss battles.
Boogerman runs, crouches, jumps across pits and moving platforms, climbs snot ropes, stomps vulnerable enemies, and flicks unlimited projectiles. The route passes through Mucous Mountains, Boogerville, Flatulent Swamps, Nasal Caverns, and Pus Palace before the final fight with Booger Meister.
Controls And Mechanics
- Jump height changes according to how long the jump action is held.
- Projectile ammunition is unlimited.
- A bottle changes the projectile’s appearance and flight behavior.
- Plungers and pustules increase the score, while some trash piles contain extra lives.
- There are no passwords or continues. Losing every life returns to the title screen.
- The game supports one player only.
