Overview and Gameplay
Pilot an armed speedboat through 25 isometric stages that mix racing with rescue work, mine disposal, target shooting, obstacle courses, waterfall jumps, and battles against aquatic monsters. Developed specifically for the NES, Cobra Triangle stands out for changing objectives frequently rather than relying on a single race format.
Courses introduce rival boats, swimmers, ramps, whirlpools, currents, and environmental hazards. Collisions drain energy, while time limits and increasingly difficult layouts demand careful steering and knowledge of each stage.
