Overview and Gameplay
John Reid rides across the American frontier to hunt Butch Cavendish and stop a plot involving the kidnapped President. Konami combines overhead exploration, town conversations, side-view platforming, horseback action, and first-person gunfights across eight mission-based areas.
Players gather clues, reveal new destinations, defeat outlaws, earn money, and purchase ammunition, dynamite, health treatment, and gun-range upgrades. Progress is recorded with passwords issued after completed areas.
